About Me

My Story

Looking for a qualified professional who understands how you feel? With a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy (2014) and a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (2015), I have the knowledge and understanding of what it is like to live with chronic pain, fatigue and depression and anxiety tendencies.

I have a passion to help others live well, no matter what condition, age or disability comes in their way. Everybody has a right to a good quality of life, enjoying what matters most to them.

I have learnt to manage my health through lifestyle changes and through using the Alpha-Stim - a microcurrent and cranial electrotherapy device. I found the results of using the non-invasive hand-held device revolutionary. I have been able to work, carry out normal day-to-day activities, return to work and even have two babies!

I believe in a holistic approach to health. From personal experience, I know that you can't just 'get better' on medication alone. It's about what you eat, who you see and what you do that gives you meaning and purpose. That's where Occupational Therapy comes in!

Since 2015, I had to leave my full-time employed work as a rotational Occupational Therapist due to ill health and have been unable to work full-time since. I have worked as a locum OT within the community and within elderly rehab. I started my own business in January 2016.

Alongside this, I have trained as an Alpha-Stim Practitioner, ran various support groups and free health clinics for people with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I have also set up music and baby groups in care homes and used to run a monthly afternoon tea and activities for people in their retirement. I also did a little bit of teaching 'sing and sign' to little ones to cover some sick leave - that was very fun - and learnt some sign language along the way. Obviously not to mention, becoming a full-time Mummy, the hardest, most challenging yet fulfilling job in the world.

I believe in a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. I offer independent living advice and general health and wellbeing coaching. We can work together to achieve realistic, achievable goals to increase quality of life and occupational performance in all areas of daily living. I also offer pain management advice and interventions including hire and treatment of the Alpha-Stim - a micro-current and cranial electrotherapy stimulation hand-held device. I'm also a DoTerra wellness advocate, offering advice on essential oils for health and wellbeing and how to incorporate them into a toxic free lifestyle. Please look around the website or on my instagram for more information, and don't hesitate to get in touch :).

As a self-employed Occupational Therapist, I am HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registered, and a member of the RCOT (Royal College of Occupational Therapists) Specialist Sections: Independent Practitioner and Older Persons, I endeavour keep up-to-date with necessary training and CPD.
